AzoogleAds.com, a performance based advertising network, is being investigated by the Florida Attorney General for “unfair and deceptive trade practices regarding online ringtone offers.” (Read)
It appears, sometime last month, the Florida Attorney General’s office was doing some investigation into the matter which lead up to this development.
One point should be mentioned here, this isn’t necessarily about the actual ring tone providers, it’s about the shady affiliate marketers who misrepresent the product, use deceptive methods to get customers or go so far as to cram the information.
