- Do you need to use a cron job with the WordPress Data Feed Import script?
No. Even if you decide to use the auto-update feature which allows you to specify the number of hours/days between publication of the individual products to the website, you will not need to set up a cron job.
- What are some of the features/advantages of the WordPress Data Feed Import script?
The WordPress Data Feed Import script is easy to set up (upload a few files), easy to use, and requires minimal formatting of the datafeed file. Depending on how clean the datafeed file is to begin with, complete preparation for import can be done in less than 15 minutes – and that’s usually the longest part of the import process. With the WordPress Data Feed Import script, you can also choose to use categories defined in the datafeed file, or specify your own default category to use for your products. If the category doesn’t already exist, it will be created “on the fly.”In order to help combat duplicate content from affiliates using the same datafeed files, you can customize how your content lays out when imported, along with adding your own personal touch to each of the imported product pages (that means you can get creative). You can have an automatically updated website when you choose to trickle your products in over time or you can choose to publish all the products at the same time. You can have it set to publish a product in as little as 1 hour apart or days apart if you choose. This opens up new possibilities when importing multiple datafeeds and products - in some cases, you can have your website updating itself for a year or more. Also, when using the auto-update feature, the script does not use even hour intervals to help eliminate footprints and to make it appear as though it’s being updated by a human.Of course, that’s just some of the features/flexibility that the WordPress Data Feed Import script offers – the possibilities truly are endless when you combine it with your own creativity.
- Do I need to install the script on each domain that I’d like to import datafeeds to?
Yes, this is because of how the script integrates with WordPress. Remember - the script does not require cron and is not remotely updated. That means, all the products, once imported, will already been in your installation of WordPress and it frees up your host’s system resources so it’s less likely the script will be banned. Also, the script doesn’t require installation - once you’ve updated the unlock code once, all you need to do is upload the files to the server, log in to your blog, and you’re ready to go.
- Is there an affiliate program?
Yes, however, the partner’s program is only open to previous WordPress Data Feed Import script owners. If you feel you may be able to offer a JV deal, please use the contact form and see if we can work something out.

Please note that the confirmation e-mail will be re-sent to the primary PayPal payment address.
